Today we did the Fritham Loop walk in the New Forest.
The pathways take you through woodland and heathland, so lots of places to sniff about. It is the New Forest, so as an added bonus there were lots of piles of horse poo to bury my head in. There were a number of streams for a paddle and a drink which was good as it was quite hot out today. We encountered some cyclists, horses and a tractor on the way around, but few and far between, so overall a safe and secure route – which is nice.
No poo bins at all along the route, but fortunately my carer has a Dicky Bag.
The Royal Oak pub is at the start/end of the route, but we didn’t have time to nip in – maybe next time.
